Words like “A” and “The” are called “articles”. “Five-star rated” could (all together) be called an adjectival clause, made up of adjectives and a transitive verb. We’ll talk about why you might want to identify groups of words rather than individual ones – the main thinking is “what function does this word-group perform?”
