Lanyon gets a letter from Dr Jekkyl including instructions to get something. Lanyon gets the request and meets the person at midnight, but doesn’t turn out to be Dr Jekyll. The creature then warns him of what’s going to happen  but Lanyon still wants to see what happens, and he gets frightened after he see what happens. He then gets traumatised and always thinks about it throughout the days after.
